The Silly Season

Christmas is the silly season. There is no doubt about it. Life is too hectic to get a grip of anything that is happening.... so thank goodness for cheap Chinese takeaway stores in Pitt Street Mall.

On a more serious note - the whirlwind that is Christmas has been frantic. Buying Presents, Preparing Church stuff - I am involved in the puppet show for our kids Christmas Eve service, Preparing for beachmission, Finishing work for the year, and getting sucked in and narrowly escaping a financial scam... but thats a long story.

It's funny how Christmas is always seen as the relax time with family and friends, in celebration of the saviour's coming... but the reality is simply that we become stress heads in the rush to get everything done, and fret about the small details of wrapping 80 presents before friday.
It's as frustrating as trying to find the West Indies/ Bahamas on the map of Western Asia...

Have a stress free Christmas all, enjoy this time. And celebrate our Saviour, entering the world to fulfill the great plans of his father.
