Snow is awesome for falling over on.
It's true. I skied and survived with no breakages. I had a stack count that at very least trippled everyone else's; but I had an awesome time. It was also just good fun to catch up with people I see far to irregularly these days. Sean, Jules, Em, Katie - and it was also good to hang with Bek (who was new to me, but was equally as nice to hang with). I miss people very much and its hanign out and going away like this that makes me realise just how much I miss all of the varied uni crews. I miss my beloved Science faculty - The fun and stupidity of Terrace cafe; The joys of nerd zone; The general shinnanigans that happen - but more significantly the people. The party train - which still remains the most awesome train ever to have departed from Strathfield station... I don't think we really could have had more fun than we did on those trains, or at AGM's, or at various parties (who can forget the house of mellor, the fundraiser, or speed dating at Peddley's)
Too many people, and no opportunity to really keep up in the same fashion as we used to. I know its the natural progression that we move on - but it's still kinda saddening to realise that you can't possibly maintain the relationships that are so precious to you.
It however does not diminish the joy that I have from being able to see everyone again... so I hope to see folks soon.
