life without a hat
Well - in the space of 15 hours, the fundraiser has well and truely taken off. $400 was raised in that space of time. So both my hat, and Tim's sideburns have their days, hours and minutes numbered. Currently things ahve reached a staggering $730!
It's aweird sensation really. As most of you know, I have a passionate connection with my hat, a deep dependancy if you will, and this is it. It.. it.. it's like loosing a best friend really.
It's a strange mix of overwhelming joy (at such contributions to support Andrew in his cause), and utter distress at the thought of losing my hat :(
Suggestions as to the hair style to give Tim? He has more to work with than I, but I can come up with some absolutely dirty things to do with shorter hair. I reckon he'd look good with a nice french braid... time to think about it, we are merely $270 away from that wonderful fate.
Today I also slaughtered a few small deciduous forests, as I printed off over 300 pages in total of study notes. At 8:30 in the morning - I had full control over all 6 printers in the computer science labs, and was queuing all of them to their maximum - was great fun!

Does anyone else reckon we shouldn't do anything to Tim's hair because it does look pretty good as it is.
Maybe we should let him keep his sidies as well because he just wouldn't be the same without them.
I think the real question here is... does Tim have an anonymous admirer? ;o) hehe

Actually I like Tim's Dragon Ball hair too annoymous- but where's the fun in not ruining it? I'm for keeping the sideburns, losing the rest all except for a little fringe.... hehehehe...
I'm starting up a petition to try and save Tim's hair and sideburns. Please sign it. This is a cause worth fighting for - don't sit on the sidelines allowing this travesty to occur. Fight for what you believe is right and just - save the hair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Puh-leez annoymous. He's hair was gone the minute he signed up for it all. I wonder who gets to do the shaving. I know!! The person who gives the most money should get the honour of shaving it!!! I have a hair shaving thing at home...
I think that a lot of the people who gave large amounts of money would prefer to remain anonymous. Or at very least that is the impression that I have been given by several of them.
I think its probably the best move to leave all donations anonymous (well I know them, but that can't be helped). Quite simply people give what they have been able to - and have been generous with small donations just as with larger donations.
that being said there is still $270 bucks left to be raised before we have to worry about hair.
Don't you worry, that $270 will come before you know it.
With the whole hair shaving issue, I vote we either get someone experienced in cutting hair, so it looks stupid cuz of the style we pick, but good cuz it wasn't just hacked at.
The other option is to get the hansome italian to do it himself, n we all can watch. Of course, he'd have to have no shirt on too...
