A positive outlook..

Today was possibly one of the wierdest days ever. It was the last day of this semesters EU bible study group *sniff*. I think whilst preparing for the grup this morning, I was truely struck by how much I have really appreciated this group - and how much I have grown as a result of it. It really highlighted for me that a leader doesn't teach a group... but rather leads it. It is God whom teaches, it is God whom does the work through his word... and so as a leader I learnt heaps! I pray for each of the small groupies that they too have been struck by God through this group.

Likewise I am utterly grateful to God for having his hand in my life, for guiding conversations; for providing clarity with some things, and for providing great friends with whom you can share your highs and lows with. On that - Iain thanks for the time we were able to spend chatting! It honestly made my day.

I have decided to leave a verse of scripture which I think sums me up at the moment. Proverbs 2: 3-11

...and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path. For wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will protect you, and
understanding will guard you.

As one of the so mentioned groupies, I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the group also. It became the highlight of my week! And God did show me much through Genesis and the discussions that followed...I am amazed at the faithfullness of our God.. We truely are blessed to have him...
Thanks also for leading the group so well :o)
