relaxing
I'm at a complete loss as to how to do this.
I spent a good 3 hours in front of the TV watching the wonders that be Australia thrashing the Windies today - as all good cricket lovers do. But I found it very difficult to relax - rather, I was a nervous and tense ball of unrelaxedness, and it struck me.
I have not relaxed in soo long, nearly a year now I would say. I have had "rest days", which I declared were mandatory "me-time" days where I do something fun... but even in my head they were kinda tasks to be done.
Now - post uni, post youth group camp, post everything - I have very little to do. I'm not quite used to it, and its kinda driving me nuts.
How do other people actually relax themselves?
AND
What's a pointless holiday project that I can throw myself at or at least contemplate?

my 20 year old synthesiser has finally broken down too... so there goes composition :(
yeah, something with your hands would be good. helps to clear your head.
i find it really hard to relax as well... i'm constantly tense these days. not nice!
you could try reading something. something fictional, preferrably not modern-day, that allows your imagination to commandeer your mind so that your body relaxes.
